Under direction of the Planning Director, the GIS Analyst I/II performs a wide range of duties related to the operation of a GIS including but not limited to: spatial and attribute data collection and/or input, data analysis, map design and production, spatial data modeling, and interpretation of legal descriptions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Geography, GIS, computer science, or a directly related field and two years of experience using ESRI software. Must have a detailed understanding of GIS concepts and use of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise/ArcGIS Online, including familiarity with basic geodatabase concepts, cartographic standards, spatial analysis, programming and geoprocessing. Must be able to work independently and/or under minimal supervision.
