ESRI User Conference (UC) in San Diego, California is the largest GIS event in the world, bringing 18,000+ people from around the world in person and thousands more online to discuss all things GIS. In this month’s Alaska Arc User Group, we will host a wide-ranging discussion of discoveries and impressions from those attending the conference both online and digitally. Please join us to share your notes on sessions you attended, workflows you’re excited about, and any important news you may have learned, and likewise you will get to hear from a wide array of attendee’s experiences. This is a great opportunity to expand the impact of this important GIS event!

I’m Rob Clark, the GIS Coordinator at DEC. I administer the GIS enterprise infrastructure at DEC, collaborate with other organizations, provide project support and develop data integration tools. I even make maps sometimes! I’ve lived in Alaska 10+ years (this time), I don’t use AI in emails, and I love skiing and running and petting my dog.
