Provide GIS, data management, and field assistance to the Dall’s sheep monitoring program of the National Park Service Arctic Inventory and Monitoring Network (ARCN) and associated aerial distance sampling survey work conducted by ARCN, the Central Alaska Network (CAKN), the Western Arctic National Parklands (WEAR), Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve (GAAR), Denali National Park and Preserve (DENA), Lake Clark National Park and Preserve (LACL) and Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve (WRST). The position will provide linkages between NPS wildlife objectives and those of WCS in the region, including work on predator/prey interactions (especially as they relate to wolverines) and outreach to hunters and their communities.

Desired start date is March 15, but flexible.
