Position Description Document
The employee occupying the position of this class is responsible for assisting with field data gathering, and will at times perform office tasks such as cadastral drafting and research for preparing, maintaining, and updating Borough base and special maps.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of or current enrollment in an education program for cadastral drafting, surveying or mapping, GIS, or drafting using AutoCAD, or experience and training which would demonstrate the ability to perform the work.
- Incident Command System classes required ICS 100 and 700 within 1 year of hire. Other ICS courses may be required according to position held within the EOC, and will be determined by employee supervisor and Emergency Manager.
- Valid Alaska driver’s license is required with an acceptable driving record and criminal history.
