This person will serve as a GIS Specialist for Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve, residing within the Resource Management Division, with responsibility for the development, management, coordination, and implementation of a Geographic Information System (GIS) and the design and management of various relational databases. The interdisciplinary nature of this position requires the programmatic integration of the knowledge of biological and physical resources, digital cartography, and geography to the development, analysis, and use of geographic and relational databases that are pertinent to the park resources.
