This position is located in Region 6, at the Deputy Regional Forester Office with a duty location in Portland or Sandy Oregon. Final determination of duty station will be made by the selecting official at the time of job offer.

The incumbent serves as an Information Specialist and will be responsible performing work, independently or as a member of a team, on a Service First Mobile Geographic Information (S1 Mobile GIS) team, empowering public and decision-makers with information using Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) ArcGIS Platform (ESRI Mobile, Desktop and Server in a variety of areas including systems analysis, database, mobile and server application development, applying analytical reasoning to develop curriculum for field data collection, customer support, and customer business requirements.
